Neurodynamic Couples Therapy: Utilizing Partner Conflict to Reach the Traumatized Brain
Presenter: Jana Edwards, MSW, LCSW, BCD
The first hour of this presentation will cover the history and theory behind the development of Neurodynamic Couples Therapy, as well as the primary elements of the treatment method.
Jana will describe why she views this approach as the next logical step in the evolution of couple therapy technique and how it is similar to and different from other approaches.
The second hour will focus on a case, including a video of a session with the couple being presented.
There will be plenty of time for discussion following the case presentation.
